Im trying to turn on developer mode but i keep on getting this error message, i tried uninstalling the app and redownloading it, didn't work, and all of my cables are connected.

To make sure both devices work well together you have to ensure that the mobile app and the headset are on the latest available version. Additionally, remove any third party or unsupported accessories that may affect communication. Also, do not forget to connect both devices to the same network.

@yur6ologic we need to clarify what you are doing. If you have an Oculus Rift CV1 then you don't need a mobile app as it's a wired headset and only uses the meta horizon link PC software.
If you have a Quest 1,2,3 or 3s then you need to make sure the headset firmware version is the same as the PC horizons link software if you are playing PCVR titles. If you want to enable dev mode for the headset then having the latest version of the mobile app will help.
