remote desktop stuck at download app

ive owned my quest 3 for nearly 3 months and used the app daily (ive even ditched the desk and use my quest from tge comfort of the sofa)

today i turned on as normal, started my pc, loaded the meta quest remote desktop app (logged in and sat at "ready to connect" got comfy on the sofa and put on my "goggles" pick up my "wands" and loaded in.

Today the Remote desktop app instead loading at the scrren where i can select which pc to connect too (saying available under) shows the "welcome" screen and the "send download link" button.

restarting app, headset and even clicking the link wont trigger it to go to thdnext window to connect to my pc.

my pc dosnt have sufficiant specs for airlink or a cable link, so this has been the only connection to my pc since i got thd quest

pc is running app version 8.0.0.3.115 (newest version available)

quest app vrsion 78.0.0.17.107

******** Issue resolved ********

After contacting online chat support and trying several fixes, it was finally resoulved by opting into PTC and installing the unreleased v71 software update. 

As soon as it was installed and headset restarted, opened and loaded first time.
