return controllers when I was only supposed to return the headset

For Christmas, I bought my son the Meta quest three and two weeks ago. It stopped working already. Got a hold of support and was able to return it, but unfortunately, instead of explaining everything in one email they send one with the return label and one explaining what to return. One of them went to my inbox the other one went to my junk mail, so I returned everything when I was only supposed to return the headset. I returned everything that came in the original package, including the original package. Apparently I was only supposed to return the headset. I was just informed that my replacement was shipped out, but now I’m in fear that I’m not going to have controllers to use with the replacement. As soon as I realized what I did wrong I contacted support again through their chat option now all I get is continuous emails asking me if my problem was resolved.
