right lens issue

Hi,

I need help with my metaquest 3, the right side looks damaged, it has different coloured lines through it the left side is fine as shown in the pictures enclosed

Any help on how to fix would be great

Hey @Jarveh ! Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the issue with your lens on the headset. The screenshots you provided are really helpful, and we're here to assist you in troubleshooting so that you can enjoy your VR experience again. 

Firstly, we recommend trying to reboot your headset. Simply hold down the Power button and the Volume button together until a menu pops up with different options, then choose the reboot option

If the reboot doesn't solve the problem, you can try doing a factory reset. Use the same method as before, but this time choose the factory reset option. Just make sure to enable cloud backup before proceeding, so that you don't lose any important data!

I tried rebooting and factory resetting but the issue is still happening
 
when casting to my device the picture is fine, so i dont know if it is the lens thats faulty/damaged

It looks like an LCD panel issue.
You will likely to have it repaired/replaced.

Thank you for the advice, my Metaquest was sent bact via RMA, just waiting for a response
