I set up my new TP-Link router to have to SSID, one for 2,5 & 5 GHz (Wifi 5 & 6) and one 6 GHz (Wifi 6e & 7).
Actually I didn't expect the Quest 3 to be able to connect to 6GHz network and indeed it was not even shown in the list of networks. So i configured the Quest to use the 5 GHz network and it actually works quite well.
Just out of curiousity i clicked again on the info box in Q3 saying it is again connected to the Wifi network, after a new start. It opened the list of found Wifi networks and there it is: my 6GHz network!
I tried to connect to the 6GHz network and was asked for a password but after some time the Quest showed me it is connect to 5GHz. So I tried to manually add the 6GHz. Most of the time it reacts like this network does not exist. I think once I saw it started network negotiations (at least the text next to the connection changed).
So I wondered, is Q3 even possible to see 6GHz networks. And I found an articles stating that actually the Android version prevents the Quest to work with Wifi 7. But that's another story. Furthermore, Quest 3 supports Wifi 6e and this standard is capable of using 6GHz.
Normally Wifi networks support several standards, just to be backward compatible. So does my 6Ghz network by supporting Wifi 6e and Wifi 7.
Obviously Quest 3 cannot handle this and the article stated some settings suggested by Meta. I changed my router according to the suggestions, basically disabling Wifi 7 completely and have 6GHz being solely used by Wifi 6e. But neah just doesn't work.
So is Quest 3 still not able to properly work with Wifi?! Is it going to be fixed at some point or is Meta satisfied by Quest 3 at least work with Wifi 6 (but not ful - in my case: at all - support of 6e or 7)?

I just noticed the article I was reading on how to configure 6GHz network so Q3 would be able to use it, was at TP- Link support site and tagged as being relevant for my router TP Link BE550
Last week i used a HMD, not produced by Meta, but with similar specs and same chip. However, this other HMD was having no issues to use 6Ghz. So what is the problem with Meta?!

Just started Q3 up again here it was: my 6GHz network, shown in the list of available networks.
It says'Saved. Check password and try again later' What is this supposed to mean? Is the password wrong, why not saying so?!
Anyways... i could not open the option for the already saved 6GHz connection. There is no option at all except 'connect'. I tried all button on the controller but it only tries to connect again. I tried all different network settings screens in Quest but there is no way to change the saved setting or delete the connection...
While switching back and forth between Wifi list, the 6GHz disappeared again and i had to restart the HMD to get it back in the list.

Case finished after conversation with support and the solution is: use 5GHz network instead
