there is not enough memory to run arizona sunshine 2

Hello,

my *brand new* quest 3 arrived yesterday. I installed Arizona Sunshine 2 on it and started playing.

The game often crashes with the error message "there is not enough memory to run arizona sunshine 2".

This happens at every 2 or 3 checkpoints. And right now it happened in the middle of a zombie fight.

Hey there, everyone! We've noticed that both of you are experiencing similar issues while trying to play Arizona Sunshine 2. We're here to help and get things back on track so you can enjoy the game again. But before we proceed, we need to ask a few questions.

  • Please confirm that the app is being downloaded from a Meta platform.
  • Was the app successfully downloaded and installed on the headset.
  • Are you able to launch other applications?
  • Does the problem occur with more than one app?
  • When did this start?
  • Were any changes made?
  • Is the Home Environment having any issues?

Once we receive your responses, we'll be able to provide further assistance. We appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from both of you.

Hi @jongetfc. Thank you for that information. We have a few troubleshooting steps left, and we would like for you to give it a go.

  • Restart the headset.
  • Log out and back into the phone app.
  • Uninstall that application, restart the headset, and reinstall the application.

If this does not help, we would want you to make sure your cloud backup is enabled and try a factory reset. Please let us know how this goes so we can proceed accordingly.

Same issue for me since I bought Arizona Sunshine 2 a few month's ago. I can play for about 10-20 minutes and it crashes with the out of memory error and I have been using a Quest 3 since last year. No issues with any other game.

Having the same issue:

  • Please confirm that the app is being downloaded from a Meta platform. Yes, downloaded today
  • Was the app successfully downloaded and installed on the headset. Yes and played for a bit
  • Are you able to launch other applications? Yes, no issues
  • Does the problem occur with more than one app? No, only AZ Sunshine 2
  • When did this start? Today as it is the first time I have played.  Reinstalled the app, restarted, etc.  Can play for about 10-15 mins before it happens.
  • Were any changes made? No
  • Is the Home Environment having any issues? No

Hi Everyone, I have only recently been getting the Low memory crash on my Arizona Sunshine 2 game since the last quest 3 software update, I have played AS2  and  completed it twice with no issues since day release so I am thinking this is an quest issue or a software compatibility issue with the game and the update. Maybe you should liaise with the developers of AS 2 and sort this out?

I have no other issues with my Quest 3 at all and it is only on Arizona Sunshine 2.

So I do not think the old excuse of uninstall the game and if that fails reboot the quest 3 is the answer.

Can you find the fix and release it so we can all go back to playing the best zombie killing game out there please?

Thanks all.

Hello again, @jongetfc! We noticed that we have not heard back from you since we sent our last troubleshooting steps. We're just checking in to see if the steps helped, or if you still need assistance. Please let us know and we can continue getting to the bottom of this!

I've done all the recommended steps including factory reset and still have the issue where it crashes with lack of memory on a Quest 3.
