virtual desktop major stuttering

Chopter10
Explorer

Whenever I open up my Virtual Desktop and connect to my PC, my gameplay has major unbearable stuttering, to the point where I can't even point at things with my controllers and that my vision becomes warped. Just the day before, everything was working fine and smoothly, I'd connect, launch Steam VR, open up a game and it would run as expected. I'm using a hotspot from my PC, my specs are 8gb ddr4 1650 ti i5 10300h.

Hey there, @Chopter10! Thank you for providing your experience on this. We want our users to have the best experience when using our devices. We have a list of requirements to run link. If a specific card is not listed there it would be considered unsupported. This would mean we're only able to provide basic troubleshooting steps. Making sure your graphic card drivers, operating system, and the Oculus app are all up to date would be the best first step. After that You can try restarting your PC and headset and see if that helps. Finally, reinstalling the software would be the last thing to try. If this doesn't help, if you have access to a device that has a listed supported graphics card, try running the programs on there so see if the issues persist. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

How is it an "ACCEPTED SOLUTION"??? A bunch of generic tips, it helps nothing.

LMAOOOOOOO

I managed to figure it out on my own (my wifi was 2.5ghz, not the required 5ghz) and wanted to mark my post as solved so that no one else would respond with more answers, and at the time that was the only answer there was.
