crazy part is i never deleted the game too

Hey there @dragonballisthebest5! Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Is this through the Meta Quest Link App? If so, can you try manually uninstalling/reinstalling the app and seeing if it still displays the same? 

You can do this by:

• Disconnect the Rift/Link cable from the computer
• Disconnect your computer from the internet
• Backup any necessary content
  • You can find steps on how to do so by clicking here.
• Reboot into Safe Mode
  • You can find steps on how to do so by clicking here.
• Uninstall the Link PC VR app using the Control Panel
  • You can find steps on how to do so by clicking here.
• Delete all Oculus folders from the following folder:
  • C:\Program Files
• Remove any Oculus folders from the following locations:
  • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData
  • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Local
  • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\LocalLow
  • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Roaming
  • C:\OculusSetup-DownloadCache
  • Note: The AppData folder is usually hidden. Use these steps to access AppData.
    1. Press Windows key + R to launch the Run dialog window.
    2. Type %AppData% in the Run box and click OK or press Enter
    3. File Explorer will launch to the AppData\Roaming subfolder.
    4. Click AppData in the File Explorer address bar to show all three subfolders in the AppData location.
• Restart your computer in normal mode
• Reconnect your computer to the internet
• Install the Link PC VR app again using the setup tool from our website here
• Reconnect the Rift/Link cable and re-test the headset

If the issue is ongoing, please let me know and we can look into it further.

uninstalled it and reinstalled it sill not downloading vr chat but it can download any other game perfectly fine

Thanks for letting me know. Can you also try disabling your PC antivirus and also try downloading the game on a different Wi-Fi/4g/5g network?

If this doesn't work, please provide your Windows version number and Link app version number and I can pass the details through to our tech overlords 🧠

it doesn't work well i got my windows version number it is 23H2 but idk how to check my link app version number

Thanks for that! It depends if you're on IOS or android but you should be able to see the app version in your app settings

Apologies, yes! It's been a long day 💤It should be in settings > general and then there will be a version number towards the bottom.

If you can't find it and you've installed the software new directly from the Meta site then I can assume you're on the latest build. Check again and if you still can't find it then I can forward on the details you've been able to provide. Let me know 😊
