my left controller has weird drift it doesnt happen all the time just sometimes it will randomly happen or when i go forward sometimes it goes backwards ive tried reseting the controller, pairing it and unpairing it, ive tried using alcahol , and blowing on it, nothing helped
Heya! Controller drift is definitely a tricky issue. I have a couple more troubleshooting steps that you can try here!
Remove the batteries from the controllers for at least 10 minutes, then replace with new batteries.
You can also try adjusting the dead zones of the joysticks in your headset:
Go to Settings
Go to Controller Settings
Under Joystick Deadzone and Range, select the joystick which is having issue
Follow on-screen instructions to recalibrate the joysticks deadzones
If your joysticks still aren't working right after that, you should submit a support ticket: https://store.facebook.com/help/support/quest/. Make sure you include what troubleshooting steps you've already tried there too so you don't have to repeat anything that hasn't worked. They'll then be able to look into options like possible replacements!
