To start, we have a couple of questions that may help us determine what could be causing this issue:
Do you have parental supervision enabled on your headset?
Is your headset and mobile app up-to-date?
Have you or your friends recently changed your profiles from Public to Private? (or vice-versa)
Are you able to send them an invite to a Party?
Have you both checked your blocked profiles tab?
Does uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile app for the both of you help?
