I purchased a wifi 6e router when the quest pro started to support 6e. I have yet to have a great experience which continues to this day. My headset sees the network just fine, connects to it just fine but will randomly drop the connection and will tell me "access point is temporarily full". for one, not many devices can even get on a wifi 6e network, but even more so i have my 6e network locked to only my quest pro so its 1 device, but I also have the top of the line WIFI 6e router, an Asus GT-AXE16000. I also have a WIFI 6 network that I jump on so that I at least have some WIFI for my quest pro. I am literally in the same room as my router so its not a distance thing. It cant be interference because I live in a house that is not close to my neighbors. I have tested jumping on the 6e network from my PC and absolutely no drops occur. Its only a quest pro problem. Ryanality mentioned that you guys deemed the Asus GT-AXE11000 as a problem device, do you also view the 16000 as a problem device? Is there a fix coming? what is the issue

We also wanted to be sure to share some points to keep in mind in order to avoid a constant Internet discussion:
By the way, were you able to try a factory reset to your device yet? Please keep us updated!

no check in with jdawg though? i will say that it has not disconnecting me during a game session in a while, but i usually pick up my headset which sits on the charging cradle(do not usually power it off) and it will say "wifi disconnected 2 hours ago" or "wifi disconnected 7 hours ago"
really just want to know you guys are working on it, and not counting on it to be something at our place and with our hardware. Wish you guys would say "the team is working on a permanent fix" not "reboot your device"

I have a new 3-band WIFI 6E Asus RT-AXE7800 router that I bought especially for Quest 3 to be able to use the 6Ghz network. Unfortunately this network is not found by quest 3!!! What the **bleep** does that mean?! After all, quest 3 supports the 6Ghz band or not??!!
When will someone from Meta get off their ass and deal with this problem? Because the Internet is full of the same reports!
I spent a lot of money on a new router for a 6Ghz network that I don't even see in the list of available networks. Please let me know what steps meta has taken to remove this defect.

Hey @darekd1977. I'm hoping you were able to get some help by now, but I wanted to check in to see if that was the case.
If not though, I'd suggest reaching out to @MetaQuestSupport through PMs for them to get a more in-depth look at everything.

I haven’t used my Quest Pro since the Quest 3 came out, so I can’t confirm if anything has changed. However, after the latest firmware update, my Quest 3 is now having the same issue (disconnects from the 6Ghz (6e) band after around 30 mins). The Quest 3 does seem to reconnect on it’s own after a few seconds, so I guess that’s an improvement lol.

I have the same issue with recently purchased TP-link XE75 Pro running in access point mode. WiFi 6GHz connection simply drops out every minute or so. Worked fine after the most recent quest sw update, but then returned. Chromebook and phones connect to the 6GHz channel just fine.
