I purchased a wifi 6e router when the quest pro started to support 6e. I have yet to have a great experience which continues to this day. My headset sees the network just fine, connects to it just fine but will randomly drop the connection and will tell me "access point is temporarily full". for one, not many devices can even get on a wifi 6e network, but even more so i have my 6e network locked to only my quest pro so its 1 device, but I also have the top of the line WIFI 6e router, an Asus GT-AXE16000. I also have a WIFI 6 network that I jump on so that I at least have some WIFI for my quest pro. I am literally in the same room as my router so its not a distance thing. It cant be interference because I live in a house that is not close to my neighbors. I have tested jumping on the 6e network from my PC and absolutely no drops occur. Its only a quest pro problem. Ryanality mentioned that you guys deemed the Asus GT-AXE11000 as a problem device, do you also view the 16000 as a problem device? Is there a fix coming? what is the issue

Hey there, @jdawg46.1976! We recognize that having a new router and being connected to WiFi 6 should be more than enough to provide a positive experience. It also relies on the number of devices linked to your internet connection. We'd like to steps in and lend you a hand in order to get this fixed for you, we recommend that you try connecting to an alternative internet connection. If you haven't already, we'll provide some troubleshooting suggestions below for you to try.
Please let us know how it goes so we can determine if any additional steps are required!

i find this answer very uninformed. first, i have done many factory resets, opted out of PTC, back in, factory reset again, changed routers, changed brands of routers and its always the same. its not my router, its not a factory reset. many others have the same issue as what i describe. its almost as if you have come into this conversation without any knowledge of what is actually happening. you think i would not have rebooted the device? my headset is the only device on my 6e network but it says access point temporarily full. you know what would help, if there was a logging feature on the quest pro. i posted this topic only because that is what was told for us to do when we had an issue. Ryanality in a previous post on v55 megathread admitted that the developer team said that the particular model of router i have was deemed as a problem device. I had a netgear nighthawk and the problem happen less but it still happen. i can tell that either that my problem will never be solved or you just are uninformed that there is an actual problem with the 6e implementation on the quest pro. I wish you could help me but I can tell based on what you wrote I have no hope. I dont mind riding on my wifi 6 that is absolutely perfect and never drops the wifi, but I bought the wifi 6e router for wifi 6e. there is a real issue and its not from my device, its from the quest pro. I had a support ticket in a while back and the support person told me that you guys are still working on wifi 6e being fully supported, but you come in and say "reboot my headset and factory reset" - really? i love the quest pro, i dont have issues with airlink like many others do, my controllers both connect without issue, but the 6e is not right and its not my router, i have tried many different channels. I see the network just fine(many people dont even see the network) and I connect just fine, but it will drop after about 10 hours without any reason to why. Wish it just worked. I connect my PC to my wifi6e and i uncheck the box to connect automatically and days later I am still connected. if it was my wifi i would not be connected so again its not my router, and a reboot of the headset is not the answer. I have factory reset i would say at least 15 times hoping it would be resolved and every firmware update there little improvement, I would say that v54 was by far the worst, v55 was better and v56 is about the same as v55. you guys are making improvements but no fixes that are 100%

I’m also having this problem with my Quest Pro on wifi 6e (ASUS RT-AXE7800). Have you found a solution?

@MetaQuestSupport have you ever checked with your development team on which wifi routers give trouble? We cant all have an issue and you blame our routers or our wifi configuration. i put in a ticket once and the guy admitted that wifi 6e was still being worked on, which was well after you guys say it was supported. Also the fact the the quest pro is supposed to be an enterprise device but does not support enterprise wifi routers sounds crazy. I dont have an enterprise wifi router, i have a gaming router, Asus GT-AXE16000, but you guys say the GT-AXE11000 is a problem device for your development team so i assume the GT-AXE16000 is also giving you guys trouble, but just know its not the routers. its something on your end. Have any answers? basic answers are not welcome, telling us to reboot our devices is like IT 101 and not welcome. Got anything good?

My situation is identical to jdawg46.1976. I’ve tried v55 and PTC v56 (now on the public release), rebooting the headset, etc. My Quest Pro is the only device on the 6GHz channel, but I still get the occasional disconnect with the “access point temporarily full” error message.

Can you let us know what troubleshooting steps you've taken so far?
Since the 6 GHz band isn't holding as properly, can you confirm if the 5 GHz is doing the same thing?
We can't wait to hear back from you!

troubleshooting is I have hard coded my channels, turned on auto channel, use preferred scanning channel, not use preferred scanning channel. rebooted my router, rebooted my headset, powered off headset and power back on. it does not really disconnect from wifi 6(5ghz) but on occasion after a couple of days it will lose wifi 6(5ghz) which is what I try to stay on due to the issues with 6e(6ghz). the issue that pops up on 6e is it says my access point is temporarily full, even though my quest pro is the only thing on there. I have tested it from my PC by jumping on there, and unchecking the box to auto reconnect so that it will be off if it happens to reconnect, it never drops it, so its not my router or my wifi or any interferrence.
The other thing is I listed all these steps in the initial post, yet you are asking me basic questions like "what steps have you done to troubleshoot" now i have listed the steps twice.
i got a question for you, what have you guys done to troubleshoot. The reddit forums are full of people with the exact same issue so how can you possibly think we should be troubleshooting this? its something you guys are failing to do that is causing these issues.
Another thing i have tried is to disable the wpa3 and turned on enhanced open and set my quest pro mac as the only device that can jump on. That actually makes the connection last a bit longer but it will still end up randomly dropping the connection with the message i mentioned. So i have done plenty to troubleshoot, but the mere fact that others have the same issue means it cant possibly be our equipment or wifi network as the issue. it cant possibly be me and @msd510 as the only ones with this exact issue. would love it if you guys can fix the issue. I have given up that you guys will fix it but am still holding out hope that maybe one day you will both acknowledge there is an issue and that you are working on a fix. there is no troubleshooting step i have not tried that will fix this without some development team involved. please get this resolved.
