Meta Horizon has committed $50 million in 2025 to invest in Meta Horizon Creator Program members. This means that more money than ever before is available to MHCP members through bonus payouts and competition cash prizes. And you can always earn a steady stream of income through in-world purchase items you sell directly in your world. Here are all the ways you can monetize in the Meta Horizon Worlds economy.

 

Bonuses

 

All MHCP members are now eligible to earn monthly bonuses to reward your contributions to the Meta Horizon Worlds ecosystem. Start building now to take early advantage of an early and still growing community of creators. The sooner you ship your world, the more opportunities you’ll have to earn!

Here are some details about how bonuses work:

• There are four bonuses creators can earn: (1) Time Spent on Mobile Bonus, (2) Time Spent on Headset Bonus, (3) Retention Bonus, and (4) In-World Purchases Bonus. For each bonus, you’ll be rewarded from a monthly pool based on your % contribution to the ecosystem. Note: We‘re more heavily rewarding time spent on mobile, so we highly recommend investing in mobile worlds! 
• Your bonus earnings will vary on a month-to-month basis based on ecosystem growth and performance of other worlds. 
• You must opt in each month to earn bonuses. 
• Sign up in the Bonus tab here each month in order to earn a bonus.
• You can sign up seven days before the start of the month. Sign-ups for the current month will end at the last week of the month, at which time sign ups begin for the following month.
• No matter when you sign up, your full month’s performance will be eligible for bonuses. 
• March enrollment begins on February 22!
• Creator bonuses are not subject to hardware platform fees and will be paid to creators in full. The Meta Horizon Worlds Creator Bonus will be offered for a limited time. Over time, bonuses and goals may evolve, for example, to encourage creators to adopt new tools or features.
