UPDATES

New Updates to the Script Editor

There is a new UI in the Script Editor Library that will enable you to create, delete and reorder default values to lists of type boolean, string, number, rotation, vector, and color. Object and Player lists cannot have default values defined in the script editor as those values are world specific.

Event Details Page is Getting a Update

The events page is getting a small refresh. Event details will now be shown in the world menu.

New Code Blocks:

  • List contains item (list) (item): This codeblock returns true if the item is contained within the list and false otherwise.
  • Remove item from list (item) (list): This codeblock removes the first instance of the item from the list. If the item exists multiple times, only the first instance is removed.

Billboarding Improvement

You can now have multiple objects in a world auto-orient towards visitors. You’ll find the billboarding option in the properties panel of any object group. Make sure the object is set to interactive or the object’s movement will be restricted.

Updates to Parties

Parties in Horizon is now a separate in-app feature and is no longer connected and synchronized with Oculus Parties. Oculus Party controls will manage your Oculus Party, and Horizon Party controls manage your Horizon Party. When you “Party Up” with your friends in Horizon, you will leave the Party when you close the app.
