Occulus Quest 2 duplicate spawning

I have had problems with the controllers since yesterday morning while I was building my new map my controller kept duplicating and spawning loads of objects onto the screen maximising the capacity to 101 this was very frustrating I tried to delete all this stuff then I turned the oculus off and went to bed

Today the oculus doesn't seem to be working as well as I would like I find it difficult to control this thing it seems like it could be some malicious code in the program it seems like the program is emulating broken controls it doesn't seem right I did not buy this device that long ago is there any way to improve the controls for this thing ?

Hey, @daxpowell466, we see you're having issues with you controllers and wanted to get some more information regarding if you have done any troubleshooting steps.

This is not the experience we want you to have with us and want to make sure we can get you back on track.

Please try removing the batteries for 10 mins and as well as restart the headset.

You can try the following steps to restart the headset:

  1. With your headset on and powered on, press and hold the power button on the right side of your headset until you see the Power off screen.
  2. Select Restart. Your headset will turn off and then turn back on.

Let us know if this made any difference in your experience. We will be waiting for your reply back!

I'm still experiencing problems with the controllers it is causing frustration as I am just finishing my new map now

This device is very frustrating to work with the controls are very irritating sometimes objects are being deleted as I make them this is very frustrating

I replied to your earlier post: I also experience this same issue as hundreds of other Quest users. The workaround is to calibrate your controllers, which you can do from Quest settings -> Devices -> Controllers.

Do the calibration for the controller you're having an issue with; don't do it for the other one if it is okay.

When you're at the step with the slider, move it to 100. That will force you to move the joystick of your controller all the way in the direction of the action, but it will also prevent uncontrolled movements of the controller on its own, which is your goal.
