As far as I know, many people make their Apps Menu clean. But so far, a feature that would allow freeware to be removed from the Apps Menu has not been available, i.e. when you uninstall a freeware program after uninstalling it, it remains in your Apps Menu and cannot be removed (I'm just talking about the freeware, the paid software can be made to be removed from the Apps Menu by way of a refund). This is actually really easy to do, so I hope it gets added.

Yeah, totally agree.

And this goes along with my request for the main games/app menu too:

For people who are a little OCD or just like things neat and tidy and organised, this is a bit of a nightmare right now.

So feel free to give that a wee thumbs up if you agree. 🙂

Please add this,

There's another thread in this forum with over 1k likes and nearly 200 comments to date about the same. Library management is very long overdue.

This would be good, or just remove any app of your choice. There are many uninstalled apps id like to remove.

This feature are very important for the privacy respect !

And not only for the free apps, this must be entend to labs or developer mode apps.

In extremis, if i try adult app (everyone know they existe), maybe i dont want everyone use my quest saw them!

I don't think this is as much of a problem as the fact that things that were downloaded from a place other than the store do not appear in the list of installed programs. With the computer helmet, this was not there either, and the updates came out with names and icons, and now only with a name in an unknown source section, which is sometimes a package name. If it's for adult games isn't it easier to just have two accounts? One for the usual stuff and a second just for games with similar content.

The new V66 added a small update towards this goal it looks like:

Hide apps in Library

You can now hide any app (installed or uninstalled) you’ve downloaded from the Meta Quest Store to help clean up your Library. You can see apps you’ve hidden by selecting Hidden from the dropdown menu in the top right.

This new version is complete garbage. Already 3 times the tracking of the hands and contrailers completely fails and only after restarting with the power button it is fixed. With previous versions this never happened.

Do you call this an improvement or is this some new feature? Make the helmet useless?
