Ability to delete Gallery Photos within the Meta Quest App

While this is a minor issue, I am always in frustration when I am unable to delete photos from the Meta Quest App itself. This would be a very useful and helpful quality of life improvement!

Please let us decide which pictures and videos we want to keep and allow us the option to delete those we don't. 

Currently there's not a trash icon or a menu to allow us to erase pictures and videos we don't want to keep.

Only the options to edit and share.

I was thinking the same! I always take a bunch, and not all are as good as I thought in the moment. Hopefully, they get this added soon.

Currently if you were to delete a video/image from a meta quest without desyncing it, it will sometimes be permanently stuck in the gallery of the mobile app. Despite the support menu saying it will disappear in 2 weeks the problem persists, therefore there should be an option to delete selected media within the mobile app. Honestly im suprised this isnt an option already and has been overlooked

Currently, photos and videos can only be deleted within the viewer, while all synced media, even if deleted, remains within the mobile app. It would be a good idea to include a "delete" button within the app as well.

we should be able to delete videos and files from the gallery tab of the oculus companion app.

To whom it may concern,

Please add a direct delete button for cloud videos and photos in the mobile app, since there is no way for us to remove already deleted videos/pictures that we forgot/didn't know we needed to unsync prior to deleting on the cloud. I have a screenshot still in the cloud since August 30, 2023 which is more than the 14-day period automatic deletion, and i don't have a way to remove it myself. I have seen many others vouching for this for privacy/security reasons, so please allow us to delete our cloud data.

When we record videos or take photos in the Quest headset they are synced with our mobile. Great.
However, when we delete them from the headset, and forget to click on "delete & unsync", the are deleted from the headset, but remain visible on the app.

Currently the app does not have an option to delete files. So we get stuck with unwanted files in the app. (I presume they are somewhere in meta cloud and that is something I do not want. (I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one).
I consider that as a feature of great importance.
