I went from Quest 1 to Quest 3 and when casting/recording, instead of showing the B&W pass-through camera it would just show a black 'void'.

Now on Quest 3 it just shows everything from the camera feed with no way to turn it off.  Though I did find a YT video mentioning that disabling the boundary will disable the pass-through camera recording since they are linked somehow, but I know that's not ideal.

Can we have a separate option to disable pass-through recording while keeping the boundary?

Just stumbled upon your other thread, I was looking for the same thing just now.

A suggestion / idea for Meta devs:
What about adding a setting that pauses recording when the person leaves the boundary and/or triggers pass-through on, then have it resume recording when they return to the boundary or turn off pass-through?

Better yet, it would also be awesome if the option to continue recording was there too, and another setting to have the recording fade to black when pass-through is on, so it can keep the audio and mic going as well. Then have it fade back in to the game or whatever when pass-through is off.
If this can't easily be done on the fly, maybe it can be done in a post process by placing chapter marks in the video if pass-through changes occur during a recording, then encoding the fade in/out of black sections into the video after the fact based on the chapter marks.

I just feel it being a big privacy issue if I'm recording a video to post online, and for it to unintentionally start showing the inside of my house when stepping or reaching out of bounds for a second.
