Things break or go missing or get thrown away or stolen. I cannot see any good reason for physical access to the headset to be required for the act of removing or hiding a device from your profile.

I am not able to remove the headset in the app because the "Headset settings" is greyed out and says "Please connect your headset to get the information and configure the device". I don't have the device. There is an anooying red dot next to "App Library" prompting me to update it but I will never be able to do that because again I do not have the device.

I found a suggestion to go to https://www.meta.com/my/devices/ and remove the device there but it is not listed there - only my new quest 2 device is listed there.

I cleared the app data.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

I was told several times by support what I COULD do if I had the headset, but that was irrelevant because I do not have the headset.

Please add an easy straightforward way to remove or hide devices without having physical access to the device.
