'Hi there,
I know that Oculus Quest is not directly sold in China Mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, and FB service is blocked in China Mainland too, as a result, it's very hard for the Oculus team to serve and communicate with the Chinese users/community.
Just want to let you know that even so there're many ppl there who are using and enjoying Oculus devices (you know what, Oculus Quest 2 has been the top-selling item on Amazon China for a very long time!!).
I really appreciate that the Oculus team adds Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese support for the system UI, it's really really helpful for us! And it would be much greater if you can add Chinese input methods (like Pinyin for Simplified Chinese and Cangjie for Traditional Chinese) so that we can type Chinese characters in the Browser or Apps for entertainment and working.
Thanks so much.

Adding input methods for Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese is crucial for several reasons:
1. Increasing accessibility: Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese are widely used languages, with a combined total of over 1.5 billion speakers worldwide. By providing input methods for these languages, we increase accessibility for users who are more comfortable typing in their native language.
2. Facilitating communication: virtual reality is an immersive technology that is particularly well-suited for gaming and educational purposes. However, without the ability to input Chinese characters, users in China will be unable to fully utilize the headset for these purposes. For example, Chinese gamers would be unable to communicate with other players or search for games in their own language.
3. Meeting user demand: adding input methods for Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese would also make the QUEST 2 more user-friendly for Chinese speakers who are not familiar with the English language. This would enhance the user experience for Chinese speakers and make the headset more accessible to a wider audience in China and other Chinese-speaking regions around the world.
Please take these into account in the next update. Looking forward to see your sincerity.
