It's rediculous that masculine features are not considered, while every avatar body has breasts or a female formed body. Cant both types coexist, or is being male frowned upon at meta?

I completely agree. Why can’t we have an option to be male? Have male features? A male face?

I dont know what you mean. My avatar has a beard. What features are you looking for specifically?

All faces, eyes, and body types are feminine. There is more to looking male than a beard. My Microsoft avatar has a male build, these avatars are all female builds.

I have the same problem and quite frankly the problem is embarrassing , it is impossible in 2024 that I can’t be a male , with muscle , tall , and with a MALE body , with broad shoulders , and thick legs , like NORMAL MEN ARE … no I’m stuck with an appearance with breasts , or wide hips , and spaghetti arms and legs ….. umbelievable, and the worst of all is , instead of shirts and suits , I get shown dresses and skirts …. No words really ….

This was my very first gripe after setting up my Quest 3. I was looking for the body switch or male body options, there were none. Now I'm stuck with a weak, twig body that doesn't match the face I made.

But now that i think about it, it doesn't feel very manly complaining about the doll that I made of myself.

Whatever! Fix our complaints Meta!!!

And get rid of the confounded glare cursor, nobody wants that either!

I actually thought I was being overly critical or something or that I somehow missed how to show male appearances. And all the feminine clothes. Can't just have a standard tshirt and jeans for a guy? I was trying to set my avatar and it looked like I had breasts on every single body. I am a large guy with pudge, but I don't need a bra. Come on Meta, do better.

Odd. When I set up my Quest 3 and it asked me to create my avatar, there is a whole section for body types, male and female, from small to large. There are also plenty of 'masculine' eyes (I'm assuming you means one with no overtly showing lashes, as is common to show feminine eyes). Clothing options were a mix of everything.

My avatar looks like me, and it didn't take much to do. Shaved head, beard, stoned eyes, smirk and a somewhat chubby male body, wearing a blue tshirt and jeans.

Maybe it's just a skill issue?

Maybe you're just more of a beta male. Most of us complaining don't like the fact that we look like [redacted] with small breasts.

I have 2 quest 2s. On both I have this issue. There are beards and goatees, but we looked for awhile to see if there were options we were missing, looked online for help and eventually landed here. Skill issue I could see if it wasn't  2 of us and we did not try to solve this on our own and we are both pretty savvy. Could be opinion of what masculine looks like to us vs what it looks like to you. We would just like more options to better reflect ourselves instead of very androgynous avatars.

Skill level, huh? Junior, we're making a doll out of recycled parts, the skills level is on par with turning on the headset. Maybe you're better skilled at turning on the headset than us, but that's probably as far as the skillset reaches.

Also, if it's a skillset, then show us simpletons where we went wrong. Because as far as I can see, I should need only the menu giving to me to make the perfect avatar of me. So, show us these hidden menus.

And to be fair, I'll go a third time and see on my quest 3 if I can change my Avatar from a limp-wristed, fairy man.
