I just switched to Core. I've noticed something a little different in how the rift appears to be treated. I'm running a dual monitor setup, and when I ran Home - I'd start up the Oculus software and the Rift would simply fire up. Now, when I start up Core, I hear the windows "Oh hey - I found something new" beep, then my monitors go black like I'm changing my monitor setup and then everything comes back after about the same amount of time. When I close out Core, the exact reverse happens. I can actually rationalize this if the new software is treating rift as a monitor - as that's the exact same behavior I get when I reconfigure the other multi-monitor setups I work with. I've just not seen it before Core. This is something of a PITA - as I need to give the system a few extra seconds to readjust after using the Rift. Is this normal behavior, something that is unique to me (or perhaps multimonitor setups), or something that oculus is aware of and will be looking at patching? I've seen the Nvidia blackscreen bug reports. Unless I'm misunderstanding this does not appear to be that issue.

BTW - posted this on Reddit and others are seeing this behavior as well - ergo it's not isolated.

Have the same. I guessed it was how it was intended to work. But would be ok if it didnt do it.
