Don't force the user to have to switch user every time he removes the headset

I have two quests and on the second one I have another account as a secondary account so that I can play some games with a friend if they use my other one. However every time the oculus wakes up it asks me if I want to switch accounts and it is very frustrating since I almost never do and I haven't been able to find anyway to stop this dialogue. So my Idea is to remove this dialogue from popping up all the time

Yes, this is so annoying, at the very least let us set a cooldown so that it won't pop up when I Iift my headset to take a drink of water.

I really hate the Switch User popup. It makes it very hard to demo to new users in an exhibition because some of them may not be used to controlling a cursor with their hands. I have no idea how to make enough noise for Meta to fix this obvious issue. We can decide when to switch user account, not everytime we put on the headset. That is just plain stupid.

I use app-sharing maybe twice month, and all the other times this pop-up is super annoying and totally brakes the easy onboarding that could have been.

…and the few times I DO use app-sharing or want to demo the unit to someone, it’s equally annoying. 

So I’ve simply resorted to going through the whole “adding another account” the couple of times a month we want to app-share. Rest of the month I keep the headset with only my primary account.

@LucidVR360 same here. It's so f annoying I preffer reinstalling from zero all of the new accounts every single time I want to app share. At this point I think either they just don't care or they want us to hate this feature so we don't use app sharing and end up buying each app twice(which I refuse to do). Meta is just the worst, and the support is straight up a joke in our face.

It is extra strange when they really trying to push the quest as a more social headset than vision pro for instance

Dear gods this is dreadful! I can't understand any rationale behind this bit of UX other than to annoy your users. Still as annoying as ever in Apr 2024. As a developer with test users it's even more of a PITA. Or if I want to use a locked down user account for demoing.

It's not even acting like the security on a desktop when I am asked to log in when I go AFK for a bit and the screensaver kicks in as the user only has to choose, there's no PIN. Oh and I can disable the login feature after timeout on both Windows and Mac.

Why continually asking?
Maybe remove multi profile feature would be even better!
