Several other platforms like Steam, PlayStation, etc. offer family sharing for multiple users in the same household. The same game can’t be played at the same time across multiple accounts or devices, but can be shared within a household in the same way that physical media works.

Is there a reason we couldn't all just send a PM to Zuckerberg(I have, but we need many voices) on Facebook or just do something to get his attention in the most directly, but polite manner? There's no reason for Quest to not have this feature and rolling it our just before Christmas when all these families end up with multiple Quest 2's, would be perfect timing.

I agree. I would like to play games together with my kids who are getting my quest one. U cannot afford to buy two copies of our favorite games

I want to buy more headset so kids can play together. We are huge fans of beat saber, incl music packs. Also multiplayer games like 'Cook Out' best played in multiplayer. But then paying twice for the digital content would be too much. So I would love to see 'smart family sharing': a special mode where games sharing works when headsets are physically close together, like in the same room. (eg bluetooth proximity or on the same WIFI) This would also be great if you have friends coming over, we play a game we own in the family. Then when friends leave buy the game to play at home as well because they loved it. Like a board game. If you like this kind of sharing as well, I just posted a new idea 'Smart Family Sharing', you could vote on as well

I was going to buy another headset so our family could play together, but having to buy 2 games every time, makes it hard to justify

You would think a company like Facebook could figure out family sharing across multiple devices. I'm taking back my second Quest 2 tomorrow. What a waste.

You would think signing in with your Facebook account would make it a bit easier for Facebook to police, with family members already listed on my account. Yes it can be abused, like adding your best friend as a brother or something, but they have a head start over other companies in keeping it legit. I was going to get a second headset for my partner, but as it stands she can just use mine to play games until family sharing is a thing.

Hi, I own Quest 1, and I am considering buying a Quest 2 for my daughter but I'm hoping I don't have to rebuy her games. Right now, my oculus account has kids games and adult games. Is there a way to split the games or give them to my daughter on a new Quest device? Basically I can't justify buying the games all over again.
