Same here in various apps and games. Goes black then home screen and you have resume what you were doing.

same thing, seems to happen randomly when I press any button while "near" guardian. To clarify, my headset pauses the game and I have to resume it.

Yes. Oculus just says to factory reset everything

For me, this often happens after a 30+ minute session of Beat Saber. I wonder if it's thermal-related: something is overloaded, and it throws the device back to Home, to give it a few seconds to cool off.

I get this, but it only drops to the home screen - and when I reopen the app it's fine. Happens at least once an hour and is insanely annoying.

I also have the same issue independent of apps I am using/playing, but some apps show this issue more often (e.g. NextVR)

Oculus support sent me a replacement unit because of this issue. The new one does it too.

Happens to me as well. Apps close and I go to the main home screen at least 4 times in an hour. When I go back to the game its still running just fine where I left it..
