Best would be to see this both in the headset, clicking on "..." in a corner menu of the game main icon and on the mobile app ("version hits" -> history). Currently you see the latest entry only (!) within the mobile app, would like to see the change history. Sometimes also the Devs are too lazy to describe the changes, there is only a version number stated. Should be mandatory to point this out, even if it is bugfixing only this should be stated.

This is particularly important for games (or apps) with reviews that complain about specific bugs. That may be enough to keep me from considering buying. But if the release notes clearly indicated that certain things had been fixed or improved, that can make me more inclined to give it a shot. It is also important to be able to see the release history. But all I can see on the Oculus site is information on the latest release; anything before that is lost in the sands of time. (Or, if there's a way to dig it up, it's not apparent to me). As an example, the entirety of the "release notes" for Layers of Fear is: "Update 2.1 v3". How does that help anyone??

They do. If you go to the game’s page on the oculus app, you can see when it was last updated. And to the right of that, there is text you can click on that shows what changes were made in the update
