For now, Oculus Remote Desktop works only on MacOS / Windows. It would be great to have Oculus Remote Desktop support also Linux (as ImmersedVR does).

Came here to same the same thing. This is a blocker preventing my company's (60+ people) adoption. It's okay if setup isn't super user friendly. Requiring the user to start a VNC server or some other fiddling would be totally fine. As long as I can see my Linux desktop from Workrooms and it isn't a major security hole, duct tape and baling wire (CLI, Xorg config, Xephyr, whatever) is great.

Ahh this would be so lovely. We have employees using Linux as their primary OS, so this is a must. Especially after the somewhat successful trial we did with workrooms just recently. I'd also like to add that this must be able to work with Wayland and not just X11.

I'm one of those 60+ people that @JT Olio mentioned This is a big stopper to productively use the device in our work environment.

I would also like to see Oculus Remote Desktop support Linux, especially Steam Deck.

In my startup we also need Linux support for sharing screen. Please Meta, take a moment for listening to the community and add this very desired feature! This kind of things add a lot of value to the technology
