As other user mentioned here and there there would be a great benefit of being able to connect/pair multiple controllers to the headset. Additionally it would be great also if you could use them at the same time - either as some sort of tracking device (which developers could use to build more advanced/custom stuff) or as 'secondary' controllers as mentioned in other threads.

I also would love multiple controllers to be paired to the headset. My children play Gorilla tag and smash the controllers around like goddam mongrels which has likely contributed to "stick drift". this does not bother them as the sticks arent used for certain games like gorilla tag or Ragnarock. But I dare you to try Pop 1 or any other first person movement based game with stick drift and try not to vomit.

I bought a second set of controllers and would like to keep them in good contition without having to pair/unpair every time!

I will be buying a Quest 3 in a couple days and I'm considering upgrading to the Quest Pro controllers. Since they are very expensive, it would be nice if pairing 4 controllers were an option so that I could have full body tracking instead of just upper body tracking. This would help justify the additional cost.

Like the ide of using the Pro self tracked controllers as additional tracking devices for multi purpose tracking and recording! Maybe for a virtual camera tracking and showing live VR views on a Phone/Tablet watching coworking with someone in a VR session from the outside world!
