Status: New Idea

Removing this ability shuts down the use of the headset for so many applications. Especially work apps. This is a must when using the Quest 3 for work. You need to be able to access texts and emails in the headset otherwise it just becomes a once in a while gaming set!

Completely agree, this feature never worked for me and is a Must Have for a VR device. 

Being able to view notifications (especially work related) during a quick VR session as the passthrough is not up to standard, is so important to keeping an immersive experience

Guys, why was this feature removed? If I'm using my headset and I get an important message on an app that's not on quest like telegram, I don't know anything about it. I've missed phone calls because I can't hear my phone with my headset on. I can't cut myself completely off from the world with my quest 3 and these notifications/calls I get are my livelihood. I work as a developer that's on call so I need to be able to be reached at all times. Please re add these features and if anything, add better integration. I know it wasn't the best thing in the world but my Quest 2 was able to handle it just fine.

I completely agree.

This feature was extremely beneficial to me, and I find myself missing it all the time as I have a lot of time sensitive notifications. The Quest 3 Passthrough is nice to just glance at a notification, but I liked being able to see it within the headset without having to take my phone out of my pocket and turn on Passthrough or to just take off the headset. 

Please bring it back!
