Remove Mandatory Facebook Login!

Remove Mandatory Facebook login in order to accept friend requests and use the Oculus app. I have never had Facebook nor do i want it. I just want to play vr. I don’t want to have to have facebook to enjoy my 500$ Virtual Reality Headset with my friends.

I’ve never gotten to use the party or chat features, because my friends parents don’t let him have a Facebook account. It’s ridiculous, these features shouldn’t be locked behind a Facebook account. I can understand uploading photos and video needs Facebook, but chat? That doesn’t even sync with Facebook or anything that might make a little sense? Oculus accounts are useless, only for buying games, Facebook accounts are used for everything instead. WE HAVE ACCOUNTS, LET US USE THEM! bad.

I have many friends and people that cannot use Facebook die to age restrictions.. It’s stupid and unnecessary and not to mention the fact some of my friends were able to in the past without Facebook with the CV1!

Such a pain. Also why can users only export photos to facebook wirelessly?? Ridiculous! We should be able to wirelessly export to devices first and foremost.
