We should be able to rename our headsets to whatever we want, or at least give them a nickname. I know renaming "Oculus for Business" headsets was/is possible, so this should be simple to add to the Oculus/Meta app for our phones.

In the meantime release an  update that sets the default to the headset version... "Oculus Quest 1 32GB," "Oculus Quest 2 64GB, or "Meta Quest 2 256GB," etc. This would not be perfect but face it, the reason some of us have more than one is that we get frustrated by storage limitations and upgrade to new headsets with more GB.

Yes please!  This is such a strange thing to NOT support at least in the mobile app.  Even if it was only stored IN the app on each device it would be better than what we have now, which is just serial numbers.

Again.. there are mor threads... people want this feature and it should be easy to implement!

You can even name it Quest 2 and give us just a number if this suits you better.

I’m jumping on this bandwagon. My household has two devices and I would love to look at my account settings> devices and be able to differentiate and identify the devices. Like “my headset” and “kids headset” cuz it gets complicated trying to link controllers and what not when you’re not sure if which headset you’re actually using.
It’s mind blowing that this isn’t a feature this late in the game, and overdue

I have just two at my house.  One for me and one for my grandson.   It would be very useful to be able name each one so that I don’t have to play the “guess which one I’m casting” game…. Every time I want to cast
