Can you all please figure out a way for two Meta Quest owners (that are using two different Quest headsets and physically in two different locations in real life, or even in the same room with two separate VR headsets) to be able to screen share or more like “window share” what’s on the window(s) in their Meta Home with the other person? So for example if I were to be using your new prototype app “Meta Quest HDMI Link” to play my Nintendo Switch on a virtual screen right there within my Meta Quest Home area, and I then initiated a call with my wife, and then invited her to my Meta Quest Home, well then her Meta Quest avatar will pop up in my home, and we can see each other and talk to each other right there in my home area, but neither of us are able to view what’s on any of the open windows that are within our own Meta Quest Home. But if it were possible to see each other’s open windows (or at least the current party host’s open windows), then we could technically play a two player game like Super Mario Bros. Wonder or any of the NES and Super NES virtual classic consoles that you can play on the Nintendo Switch, and we could both be watching the game play out on the exact same screen from the party leader’s Meta Quest Home. Now that could be a pretty fun thing to do with your spouse or friends. It’d literally be like playing a real life video game, but within a virtual “video game” world via your virtual Meta avatar. How dang awesome would that be if that were to be made possible?!?! I know it can be achieved with our current technology. There’s no reason why it couldn’t or shouldn’t be added as an option for current Meta Quest owners across the globe. Another awesome example of a cool reason to bring this ability to life would be so the two users can be in the same Meta Quest Home virtual space, and be able to watch movies or TV shows together. This can be done using a Meta Quest app like “Spatial TV”. The party’s host can open up their Spatial TV app and play a Disney+ movie, and expand the window to make the screen bigger like in a movie theater, and then both Quest users can then watch the exact same movie together, and in the privacy of their own personal and private Meta Quest Home area, so it will feel very intimate and special between only the people in that current party. It’d work kind of like how it does in the Bigscreen VR app, when a user creates their own private room and then invites other users to join them in their private room and then watch the same movie or TV show together on the exact same movie screen. But this wouldn’t be on a separate VR app, it would be from within the Meta Quest Home of whichever user was hosting the party. And then that could lead to other cool and exciting opportunities. Like you could then start creating virtual Meta Quest “Movie Rooms” that work similar to how the Meta Quest Home area works. It would be our very own virtual space, much like our current variety of different Meta Quest Home areas, but it would be digitally created with the vibe/ambiance of an area perfect for watching movies. For examples: movie theaters, art houses, sports bars, school classrooms, man caves, he/she sheds, living rooms, bonus rooms, bedrooms, basements, decked-out garages, cool attic spaces, drive-in movie theaters, large-scale IMAX theaters, inflatable outdoor movie screens near an interactive swimming pool or a bonfire, any kind of themed rooms, any kind of retro nostalgia-driven decade-styled rooms that have the look and feel of a different time than now and they can virtually transport us to a much happier and simpler time in our life…our childhood! I just get so excited when I think about these two very awesome ideas! I can envision it all so clearly and vividly in my mind, almost as if I had actually already experienced it from within my own Quest headset. It feels so real when I imagine it!  I just wish I only had the ability to bring it to fruition for real! I guarantee that adding this option as a possibility to your Quest headsets would dramatically increase your user base, mostly because it would create yet another awesome opportunity for Quest users to interact and bond with one another. What’s more intimate (for people of all ages, not just adults) than being able to watch movies and tv shows together or play two player video games together in the exact same virtual space, and be able to see each other’s Meta Quest virtual avatars as they are sitting right there next to you in your very own private Meta Quest Home area, and also be able to hear them talking to you over your headset speakers because you’re basically on a phone call with them via Meta Quest Messenger or whatever Meta Quest app allows you to call your Meta friends and invite them over to your Meta Quest Home area? People of all ages and nationalities will really be into this feature, and it can be used to “virtually” unite a lot of people who would otherwise not have the ability or the means to physically be together in their real world spaces. Not to toot my own horn and humbly brag, but THIS CONCEPT could actually be life changing for some people!!! Mark my words now! This could be the next big step of the Metaverse’s future that we’ve all been envisioning for quite some time now. Please, please, please give my idea some thought and seriously look into turning this idea into a reality. I hope all the right people somehow come across this post, and magic then starts happening!!! I’m here for it!!! Much Love to All!!!
