It is annoying to have to connect Quest to the PC to enter ADB commands or to do it with Sidequest, and that when resetting or shutting down we have to do it again. There is even an app specialized in this that also requires a connection to the PC.

Experimental settings should have options to force render target resolution, Hz/FPS, texture filtering type, fixed foveated aggressiveness offset (including turning it off for haters), and offset to S.O.C. performance level. All of these things can be easily forced with Sidequest. Why not make it available in the advanced settings? Although that specialized app uses statistics of recommended settings from the community, it is still interesting for it, but it could avoid having to connect to the PC by being able to do it directly from Quest.

One good thing about standalone apps is that they usually give control options over the level of MSAA and supersampling, it would be nice to be able to go further. There are always people who prefer more FPS, and people who prefer better image quality, and people who prefer less heat (especially in summer) and more battery, which would be the opposite of the two previous cases of FPS or quality.
