Allowing user created environments for the room and surroundings. They could be available through a community tab/section. Maybe even with a voting system.
User created objects/environments are unfortunately unlikely to be added because Oculus has plans to charge for unlockable crates (some of the code already exists). They want the stuff to be incentives to buy games from their store and/or to buy loot crates from them. Allowing us to create our own content would reduce their ability to monetize. Which really sucks because VR is a perfect match for user generated content.
I don't mind if they drop the community sharing option (to protect the value of sell-able crates and ensure a minimum quality level). Just let us at least make stuff for personal use (using a CAD tool of our choice and exporting to a standard format). Perhaps make it visible to others when they visit but they have to pay a nominal fee to copy someone else's design. That way everyone's home becomes a potential store for Oculus. We get our personalization and Oculus gets a revenue stream. Win-win.
