The newly announced Quest Pro is a big deal for a lot of people, with tons of new features enabling richer interactions. But why aren’t those same interactions available for users who want the power of a PC behind their VR experiences? Previously, hand tracking was not brought to PC and now all of the additional tracking features shown in Meta Connect are also not available for PC users. While hand tracking may have been excusable as a small feature of a relatively inexpensive headset, at $1500, the Quest Pro needs to treat its professionals better. I’d like to see both stand-alone and PC developers alike be able to tap into the sensing potential of the Quest Pro. Edit: This post originally mentioned leg tracking, but since Meta faked that presentation using Mocap and it isn’t representative of any product they currently offer, I’ve removed it from the idea.

Just like the admin account can have a mobile device and when on the device, start a casting session from the mobile device.... the sub accounts should be able.to do the same with another mobile device or the admin device should be able to just start casting regardless of what user is playing.

I hate that the games are still on my library even though I uninstalled them already and will never play them again. Yes, I am aware I can filter them out.

The Quest is an incredible system, but all the games on there seem to be limited. SuperHot is awesome but only has certain levels to play. BeatSaber is cool but arms get tired after a bit. Minecraft, however, has unlimited possibilities. The only time you get bored is when you can no longer think of what to do. I think it would add a certain re-playability to the Quest. Of course, the Quest is brand-new, and new games will be added soon, but I think that the console could really benefit from something like this.

Hi, I want to hide the new mirror in the home environments. I use these environments to relax and escape, and the new mirror is highly distracting, unnecessary and unappealing. It ruins an otherwise beautiful view. Please fix this or at least provide an option to hide it if at all possible. Thank you for creating this feedback center. Listening to customer feedback makes us feel valued and more likely to upgrade to new products as they become available.

Though you can sort of hear audio through the speakers on the headset itself, it'd be far better for spectators if you could hear audio through the phone too, especially when the person using the headset is wearing headphones.

It works be great if we could use Eye Tracking to select text fields and windows. Here's an example: 1. You have two browser windows or 2d apps open. 2. You're typing on an external keyboard in window One. 3. You glance at window Two and want to start typing there but forget to click first. 4. Even though you haven't clicked, typing should follow your eyes, so the text appears in window Two as expected.

You should allow people to search and sort apps by comfort level. I was looking at one game that is comfortable but also had violence, so I skipped it. But this would help people navigate the library more efficiently. Thanks.

so it's known that secondary accounts can't officially transfer files between PC and headset, so is there some bootleg way to do it? if so I would really like to know, because I have 2 accounts which both have different games and I would like to mod blade and sorcery but the file problem is preventing that

If Oculus partners up with Alta VR Studios and port A Township Tale to the Oculus Quest. Of course, the graphics would have to be lowered a bit (I think), but even then I think it would become a HUGE success, I've heard alot of people tell me they're sad that A Township Tale isn't on the Oculus Quest, and that they don't have a good enough PC to stream it via ALVR/other means of streaming. If you make this happen, I think the sales of the Quest would go up, and you would get a lot of happy fans. I know if I would buy a wireless VR headset with A Township Tale instantly, if I weren't even considering it beforehand.

Please restore the percentage icons for the controllers on the Quest home. The percentage bar was more useful and accurate. Thank you.

I know this is a forum for user feedback, but I'd like to speak on behalf of the studios, solo devs, hobbyists, and fellow gamers dabbling in development who are publishing wonderful content on App Lab I would not otherwise have access to without sideloading. Considering they receive NO exposure or promotion on the Oculus Store, I believe it is only fair that the revenue sharing on App Lab content be reduced from 30% to 15%. This makes it more viable for a small studio starting out to be successful, cover their costs, and go on to make bigger and better titles... ultimately benefiting all of us users. If that's the kind of content ecosystem you want for VR, please vote on this idea.

Set new dev guidelines that force all developers to incorporate accessibility features for people who are deaf.
Subtitles, some other UX prompts, I'm no expert and not deaf but I have built websites for the blind and consider accessibility fundamental to the user experience.
This idea was inspired by this Reddit users post https://www.reddit.com/r/OculusQuest/comments/e997wb/quite_a_lot_of_the_quest_apps_are_completely/

I do not want Messenger on my Oculus. When I sign out via the gear icon anyone is able to sign right back in with the click of a button. I don't want this feature on this device at all as anyone who uses it is able to read my messages. Give the option to remove the app, as it has no place on a headset that kids play on. Simply turning off notifications or signing out when someone can easily sign back in, is not acceptable. The only acceptable solution is to provide the option to remove the app. See this discussion.

E-Gift Cards, or simply buying Oculus store credits, solves many problems while being relatively easy to implement.
* Parents can add credits for their kids, allowing them to choose games to buy without needing to store their credit card information
* Friends and family can buy e-gift cards, print them, and stick them in a holiday card or have them delivered to the recipient on a future date
* People can indirectly use it to gift games to each other ("Here's a $20 credit, use it to buy xxxx so we can play together!")
* Facebook doesn't need to solve physical card distribution problems or negotiate with storefronts to carry the cards
* A credit system already exists, and Oculus already uses it for promotional purposes (meaning the functionality already exists to direct it to a recipient, claim it with a code, and apply it to your account)
This can be implemented in time for the holiday buying season, which will be important for customer satisfaction. It will also help the developer community by broadening the number of people that can put money into the Oculus Store ecosystem: friends and family that don't own Quest (2), but know someone that's receiving one for the holidays.

Hello reader! It has been mentioned multiple times before, but I wanted to reiterate the idea and hopefully spark a conversation. Now that the Quest Pro controllers are compatible with the Quest 2, can we get an update that allows users to pair multiple controllers to the headset? I really want to utilize the Pro controllers for gameplay, but I don't want the Quest 2 controllers to just collect dust- being able to use them as leg trackers would be incredibly immersive and intuitive! Seeing as how the Quest 2 uses inside-out tracking, placing the leg trackers on the front of the user's thighs via simple straps should prove stable enough for accurate tracking while also increasing immersion tenfold. This could also open the door to a series of first party full body trackers, using the same IR technology, on a smaller scale, to compete with other multi-point full body tracking solutions. I imagine this has been discussed internally but would love to hear an update from a developer and see what the general consensus is. Thanks!

It’s nice to have a mirror in your environment when you want to see what your avatar looks like, but it’s annoying that there’s no way to get rid of it. There should be a toggle that you can press to enable or disable it. Thank you.
