Currently the eye and facial tracking on quest pro works quite well for me, but i couldn't ignore the fact that it doesn't give out data for tongue movements or positioning and pupil dilatation for the eyes; I've been using the facial expressions captured by the quest pro for few days by now, and the level of expressiveness you can achieve without saying a word it's amazing, being able to look someone in the eyes while speaking or even seeing someone smiling in real time when i say something funny. But i'm still missing the possibility of using tongue movements or seeing my avatar eyes getting wider in darker environments or when an situation could cause this, everything to improve nom-verbal communication.

Hey - Just filing this request here as per the post on reddit by @Ryanality Would it be possible to get a inside out tracked object Tracker? Similar to the upcoming Tracker by HTC Vive. This would be really useful for things such as Full Body Tracking and general object tracking.

As the title suggests, within the accessibility menu, having the option to toggle “Free Locomotion”, and “Teleport” would make the home environment more immersive, and allowing larger parties to congregate easier for better communication before joining apps/games. Having the home environment seamlessly integrated with Horizon Worlds would take a lot of the guesswork and tutorial out of your social app to increase traffic to the app.

Of course, a common request is leg tracking. Having small sensors that can be Velcro strapped to your ankles/legs would be a great addition. This can eliminate “guessing” through certain updates using the headsets position. This would pair well with other fitness apps that may require you to knee/kick icons during a workout. In the software, you can select from mounting it on your shoe or your knee to aid in better tracking points. These can pair with Bluetooth, and/or use IR similar to the controllers

How about semi transparent menu's in the home (adjustable) and also in horizon's so you can still see around you instead of the world being blocked out by a massive menu. Cloud access, ie being able to link to lets stay google photo's and in horizon's or any social app you show other photo's via a sort of tablet you can hold like what you do in real life with your phone. DLNA media streaming from local computers/media servers for watching and sharing content with friends and family.

Pupil size can be very important for enterprise and general research, it would make the headset more competitive in those segments. Pico and Vive provide that with their eyetracking data and despite the movement tracking being better with the Quest, we do need to discard the Quest Pro for that missing data.

Bringing Oculus Home into PCVR, was a wonderful addition that I dearly miss with standalone. Having the ability to customize my home environment with furniture, artwork, mini games, or even awards/trophies from games I have played, would make the social experience that much better. Allowing me to show off the things I have achieved, and show off my interior design choices. I understand this would rather be implemented to Horizon Worlds, but referencing portals as stated in my last suggestion, a portal to this type of environment would be a fantastic addition

Even though y’all have the meta pro head strap, it would be a great addition to your accessory inventory to add hot-swappable batteries. Very similar to bobo-vr. You could implement them to the stock strap, or build a separate head strap with magnetic battery backs that go on the back for weight distribution.

Since the tracking is performed with IR through the controllers, having an IR blaster connected to the USB C port to have better low light or nighttime use. This blaster should also have an ability for a pass through USB C port, so we could charge our headset with a backup battery as well.

I guess it goes without saying that you should be able to have your friends in your Home environment and be able to socialize there with them. On top of that, when I cant be in a live social experience with my friends, id like to be able to leave avatar 'voice' messages, where my avatar would appear in my friends home, and be able to talk/gesture/ recommend them games etc. Getting into an experience live with people is too hard and infrequent. At least if i could leave messages my avatar could get used for something.

The TV app is a great way for a party to enjoy immersive videos/content in VR. Allowing the host to play downloaded content from the headset and stream to the party would be a great addition. This could allow me to play movies/tv shows while in the home environment. If implemented with customizable home environments, we could have a large TV on a wall that would broadcast the media playing from the hosts headset. Of course bandwidth playing a large role in larger file size streaming

There are a slew of companies making gun stocks for FPS. A meta designed stock for the quest 2/pro controllers could make the experience much better, and more immersive. It’s tough to implement effectively without use of magnets, and making it work properly during gameplay and without being able to see. I’m sure your designers can get creative!

Now that Meta is advertising the quest 2 and quest pro as a workout accessory, it would be a great addition to have a fan that cools the face, and prevents condensation from building inside the headset.

It would be nice if we had a black colorway for any future devices (cough... Quest 3... cough) or if the front plate was removable and you could put a different colorway on it or possibly designs. Kind of like how the PS5 has the removable plates so you can pick a different color if you choose.

Meta Home environments. I love them, and connect with my family and friends as often as we can. Hanging out in the virtual environment in the party is a fun way for us to chit chat and catch up before hopping on a game. With apps like “Side Quest”, we are able to download and load custom environments for us to load into anytime we start our headset. Implementing this with a “store” through Meta would be an interesting idea. Of course, I’d not want it monetized, but more community built. (Think like horizons, but more on the home world for now) That way when I invite a friend to my home environment, it will prompt them to download the environment so they can interact with the home world when they join the party.

Having a close friends similar to instagram, would make joining parties easier with close friends and families. Having this ability, this should also enable “auto join” parties. There is a selectable menu in the party to turn this on, but you always have to toggle it to “on” every time you start a new party. With the close friends, they would be able to join without permission. If this doesn’t work, you could always add a menu when starting a party, to allows allow certain people to join without asking. Makes the party joining a bit easier, as we always communicate through text that we will be getting on together

A fan to ventilate the space between the face and the helmet would be a good thing, but I'm more interested in tracking the body, elbows and legs in games, especially the elbows and body, because. in vr games, the prediction of the body and elbows is very inaccurate and greatly spoils the immersion in the world of the game when you move your arms and the elbows in the game do not agree at all with what is in reality, the same with the body

Hi, I was told that Touch Pro would support simultaneous hand and controller tracking (for 1 free hand and 1 controller with buttons, which is very convenient), This would be my #1 request. Touch Pros should work on Quest 1, 2 and Pro, not just Quest 2 and Pro. Why not for Quest 1? When I paired my Touch Pro controllers to my Quest 2, it was weird that I had to unpair my Quest 2 Touch controllers to pair the Touch Pros. Why not support all 4 controllers at the same time? That way you could strap two of them to your upper arms, or lower legs. Or just one Touch Pro controller on your waist for 6DOF waist tracking. I also don't understand why Touch Pro controllers can't pair with Quest 1. I know that headset is being end-of-lifed but it just seems weird and inconsistent. I'd also like to see Touch Pro controllers pair with a PC directly for non-VR use cases (dev work in a browser or 2D application on your monitor), or to use to play PC VR games with non-Meta headsets. Then Touch Pro controllers would become a truly universal controller. Make it SteamVR compatible out of the box without needing Oculus runtime running. Or just make it accessible via an OpenXR API layer or third party tracker extension so you can use it with any headset through OpenXR. HTC is coming out with inside-out tracked 6DOF pucks that will pair with anything. I think all these controllers only working with a single vendor is hurting the market. Meta / Oculus could make a ton of money selling the Touch Pro controllers if they were suddenly compatible with any PC headset, or other standalones. I love the Touch Pro controllers but them being limited to Meta headsets is frustrating because I know it's just code. There are lots of non-VR games or apps that could benefit from being able to have 6DOF motion controllers on PC or mobile or whatever. Also, we should be able to access the 2D trackpad values through OpenXR. I don't understand why this feature isn't exposed already: https://www.androidcentral.com/gaming/virtual-reality/turns-out-quest-pro-controllers-have-a-hidden-touchpad

With a larger party, we hangout in the home environments often before launching an app/game with multiplayer. Having a way for the party host to drop a temporary portal for people to walk through to join a game, would make the immersion a bit better. Of course, incorporating horizon worlds, the ability to drop a “favorite” world directly into the home environment would make access to metas social app far easier. This would also help a party that starts in the home environment, can walk into a portal and continue as a party into the meta horizon portal location making regrouping easier and seamless
