I know this has been said a lot, I just want to add my voice. How about not make a core product such as Horizon World, which IS the only Meta metaverse, available exclusively to 4 countries worldwide?? Why would I want to buy a headset for the metaverse if the metaverse is not available? It's been years. You guys say "stay updated for announcements" but we getting old over here... Thank you.

It makes no sense that a kids 10-12 account can talk to random strangers with no filters whatsoever, but they can't have friends (even real life friends, even their parents as friends!) This just results in kids creating or using parental accounts. This is not ideal and goes against the purpose of the child account. Every other gaming platform allows friends, this makes no sense whatsoever.

Currently, you have no control over the media that appears in the app. It is absolutely crucial that basic functionality, such as media deletion is possible. This will even save meta money, as it means users can delete content that they no longer want stored.

I know I’m not the first to suggest, but I’m also not understanding how this isn’t a feature that’s been added already. Please allow us to rename devices so we can easily know whose headset is who’s in the app. We only have 2 and within the first few hours we were searching for a way to rename them. It seems like it would be much easier for people to have more headsets with this simple feature.

The background music plays even when you're trying to watch something on the browser, it's highly disorientating and makes the browser unusable because you can't have the sound on without the background music from 'home'. Please turn it off or make it possible for the user to do so.

Hello, As an Indie developer who has recently started working in the VR industry and released my second app in App Lab (https://www.meta.com/experiences/6767319019991390/), one of the biggest challenges and terrible developer experiences that I face with the Quest Store is how it just stops every app from entering the main store. Not only that, it's literally impossible to search for apps in App Lab unless you know the exact app name. I have been working for around 8 years, releasing apps for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. As someone who has received millions of downloads and made tens of thousands of successful purchases in my app, I want to share three ways the Quest Store can become a better place for indie developers and small teams. 1. Make Apps Searchable. What is a marketplace, and when do transactions take place? "A marketplace is a place where a buyer and a seller meet. A transaction is when the buyer and seller have finalized an agreement for transferring goods, services, or financial assets in exchange for money." From this very textbook definition, we can say that Quest Store is a marketplace where developers and users meet, and there's a transaction when the user decides to purchase an app. However, imagine what happens when the buyer never actually finds the seller. This is exactly what is happening with the Quest Store. An average Joe doesn't know which app to use or buy. He opens the store and puts something he wants there, but unfortunately, the search is super limited, and he never comes across the apps that might suit his needs. For example, if a user wants to play a dinosaur game in his Meta Quest headset and goes to store search and enters "dino games", he finds no results or very limited results pop up because the games that are actually dinosaur-based are titled differently; maybe the title is "T-Rex Hunter" or "Jurasic World" or maybe the game is in the App Lab. What this means is that unless you're a hotshot title like "WhatsApp", "Instagram" or "Roblox", you will have a very limited chance of coming up in search results (that is, if you are in the main store), and pretty much no chance if you are a developer still hanging in App Lab dynamics. Imagine what the world would be like if the Apple App Store or Google Play Store did this in their stores a decade ago. Now, how do we fix this issue? It's simple. Make it easy for an average user to search in stores. That means that an average Joe may not know all the exact search terms; his input will be like "photo editor", "record audio", "karaoke app" etc. It's the job of a good marketplace to use an app's title, short description, and long description to generate good search results. This has been the secret sauce to the App Store's or Google Search Engine's success forever. People go to Google because they get relevant results and not because they're given very based results, which helps only a handful of top game studios. 2. Make Apps Discoverable. If you are lucky enough to have been curated in the main Quest Store listing, then there's a good chance that your app will be discoverable on the Quest Store home page. But what about the thousands of App Lab apps that have zero chance of ever being discovered on the home page? One of the driving forces behind my previous success with the Apple App Store or Google Play Store has been that my apps would be organically discoverable in searches as well as on the store's home page. Imagine a simple example: A user wants to learn a new language, and he searches for "Duolingo," a very popular app for learning languages. The App Store understands that this user has an interest in learning languages, so what the store does is curate a list of other alternative apps that might provide similar functionality below the "Duolingo" store listing. Not only that, the store ensures that when the user visits stores again, he may find a wide variety of different apps that the user may feel interested in installing from the store's home page. What that means is Apple or Google doesn't restrict, like, "Oh well, I will not show app lab apps instead here; check out Beat Saber for one billionth time." How do we fix this issue? We simply make the Quest Store more user-friendly. We allow Quest Store to not just allow a handful of big titles; instead, we allow smaller apps and apps from App Lab to be easily discoverable in the user's recommendation on the store page, as well as showing up in the user's search results with more relevant apps. 3. Make the search list paginated. One of the strangest things about how a search result appears is that it has a horizontal row called "Apps", then there's another row called "Bundles", and finally "App Labs" (most of the time it never appears). Now this "Apps" section shows, which I think from the top of my head, like 10 apps, with the last item being the "See More" button. Now what I understand is that a common user has no motivation whatsoever to scroll all the way to the end of the horizontal list and then tap on the "See More" button, which shows maybe 15–25 more apps. Secondly, even if the user taps to see more apps, there is no search result pagination to allow the user to look for more apps. So if they don't get what they want from the 15–25 results, then they will have to go back. Finally, it makes no sense to put bundles in the app search list. If Meta wants, it can pretty much show the bundle pack inside the app's store listing page because that's where it belongs. I think the search page should be a straight-forward, vertically scrollable page, much like the Apple App Store search result. It is okay to take advantage of the width and show like 4 apps on each row, and as the user scrolls down, more apps should be loaded. There can be a tag " App Lab " on top of those apps that are from App Lab. Merging the search results will provide an easy-to-search experience. Bundles can be easily found inside the app's store listing, and users will find more opportunities to try different apps. Conclusion There are tons of other poor developer experiences that I can talk about, like no option to use a subscription in App Lab apps, no option to use "App Ads" for App Lab apps, no way to use in-app ads in our apps and no way to submit apps to the main store listing. I understand Quest Store wants to curate only quality apps, but stopping hundreds of thousands of apps from being discovered makes it super hard for indie developers. It seems like the platform works specifically to favor big players in the market. We, the common developer, don't have the budget to be able to use paid marketing, nor do we have a connection with internal Meta Team employees or managers to help us push our app to the storefront from day one. I feel more shocked when a third-party site like " SideQuest " has better developer support, and I was staff-picked by their team. It's strange to see the chaos of thousands of developers waiting in SideQuest in hopes of getting their chance at the Quest Store, and I have to admit they make pretty dope games and apps. I certainly feel it's unfair when 5% of Quest Store apps get 95% of the audience and the other 95% of apps have low to zero visibility. This post turned out pretty long, but I tried to provide constructive criticism. I hope someone from the Meta Team might read this and use my insight to provide a welcoming experience for developers.

When using other apps that give the user to use their PC remotely (Immersed, Virtual Desktop) the audio is much clearer and less compressed than using Meta Horizon Workrooms. It causes this issue where I can't properly hear the audio when playing music/videos compared to those other apps. I assume it is either a bitrate issue or potentially something else under the hood. It would be appreciated if this had a fix. I saw another post that potentially the audio is set to mono rather than stereo and that might be the issue but there is no way to change it.

One great feature of the Meta Quest Pro is the open design, where you can snap on sideblockers or full blocker or simply use it without those! Would be nice If you could offer a magnetic frame for the face interface, to attach side blockers of your choice for the Meta Quest 3! Like an ”Open” face interface to make it more like the Quest Pro and maybe only have a soft fronthead padding, would make it more comfortable, customable to use and a bit slimmer!

The headset needs to disable the option of deleting a file from the camera gallery if it's been syncd to the Meta Cloud Album/(Quest App Gallery) thus preventing users from having their pictures and videos stuck inside the Quest app gallery/cloud.

Could we please get some type of official option to get major, non-PTC, Quest system software updates earlier into their rollout? Like perhaps a System Software Update Preference setting with choices of "Advanced" or "Standard", and if "Advanced" is selected then system software updates can be downloaded as soon as they become available for our configuration/region/etc. This is similar to an option that Tesla implemented in their cars that seems to work well.

Me and a friend of mine have the quest2 and quest3 respectfully. While we were playing with the AR of both headsets, trying to compare the passthrough I had a thought. Why can't we see each other's windows? Obviously this is because meta just hasn't made that a feature yet, and I don't know if they ever will. However, if anyone on the dev team sees this I think it would be a very useful feature that would help make passthrough more useable.

With non cartoonish style of image, just a black environment with a limited glowing vectorized dome maybe or a spinning Meta logo or similar,. A kind of professional looking environment for business use and presentations on the PRO and Q3

In our organization, we use both Quest 2 and Quest 3 devices for training purposes. For scalability, we want to train about 5-10 people at the same time in many different locations throughout the country. For this purpose, we have a charging case with 10 headsets. However, in order to ensure the effectiveness of their training (e.g, by giving feedback, or guiding them when they are stuck) we need to be able to monitor where they are in the training and to see what they see and do. As it is impossible - or at least very impractical - to bring 10 laptops with us for casting, we would love to see an option to cast multiple headsets to one device. we do not necessarily need to see them simultaneously, but a simple button press style switching option would already be tremendously helpful. I figure that this would be a much needed feature for other educators as well.

Currently it is very hard to scroll the apps pane because scrollbar is very small. Same in Meta Quest Web Browser. Grabbing the main window for scrolling is not an option because it often ends with false click in and opening app which we didn't intended to open. I know that you have made that small for the sake of pleasing look, but intuition and easy of use should be at first place. Please read the book "Every day design Things" by Donald A. Norman if you still don't know how to design interfaces.

I don't really get an idea to be in virtual world and being not limited by space (physical keyboard size or small phone screen size) and still not being able to have all keys in place. For example, usually the full fledged keyboards have digits above the characters keys. Whereas in Meta Quest 3 I'm constantly forced to press the modifier key (shift or whatever there is). This experience is a nightmare. Have you ever tried to write a password which contains digits, characters, special characters, upper and lower case and which is longer than 15 characters. I bet you won't finish that operation. Especially if you are doing that by muscle memory!!! You won't guess the position, because all is rearranged. My suggestion is to create physical like layout (like on Logi MX Keys or something), where you can even have double meaning of each key, especially these with digits. These digits would be split by two. I mean square which is divided by diagonal line, which ends up with two triangles. Above half contain usual value like "1" and below half contains "!". This way you don't have to press any modifier and also you have all in layout at place!!!

Hello, good afternoon, I've had an issue with the games referred to in my Quest 3, and I would like to file a complaint/suggestion/improvement idea; I'm not sure how to categorize it. Firstly, it's so that users have tools to assist the customer service department. Secondly, it's to address the referral issue in the Meta app on mobile devices, so we don't encounter as many problems. The specific problem I encountered was that after referring a game to someone, after 14 days, the 5 euros did not appear in my account. I waited for two days, and still nothing. Today, I finally contacted customer service because Black Friday was approaching, and I wanted to take advantage of it. Customer service asked for the name of the person I referred, but I couldn't remember (it had been 16 days). Moreover, even though it was in my account, I couldn't check because the Meta app only shows the first three letters of the person I referred at most. So, customer service said they couldn't help me without the name or email. I don't understand how the Meta app, which should theoretically tell me who I referred and who referred me, doesn't provide that information. I feel defenseless in this situation. Imagine that I gave 5 referrals for the same game, how do I do it? I managed to solve the problem by asking all my friends on the social network where I provided the referral, but from my perspective, this is not being handled correctly. In sumary What I'm requesting is a detailed provision of the necessary information, including the username and email of the person I referred to, once they have accepted, and after 14 days have passed. Additionally, I'm asking for the information (username and email) of the person who referred me. This request also extends to the referral program for the glasses. This information is crucial to resolve issues efficiently and ensure a smoother experience for users participating in the referral program. Note: Customer service told me I couldn't file a complaint about this. Is this true? How is that possible? This also needs to be addressed. I apologize for the tone, but I'm frustrated with your system. It's not about the money; it's that I'm wasting a lot of time with so many emails, etc. Thank you for your time and attention, as always. Best regards, Antonio
