I would be grateful for feedback on Jigsaw 360. I have been working on it since July 2018 and am ready to receive Early Market Signal from fellow VR developers. It is in a Beta state and is awaiting a few final images to be created.
It's a simple idea, but hopefully well executed. It was originally planned for the casual gamer market on Oculus Quest, to highlight high resolution graphics and precise use of tracked 6dof controllers. I would like to release it on the Rift towards the end of November.
Platform: Oculus Quest and Oculus Rift. Known issues & still to do: I still have a couple more images to add. It will release with at least 10 images, but you can also add your own. Currently has bird background sounds but you will be able to choose other relaxing background sounds, probably rain or waves.
Target Price: $1.99 - please give feedback on price too.
Short Description: Relax while completing beautifully detailed spherical jigsaws. The new way to experience a traditional puzzle. Suitable for all ages with between 8 and 128 pieces. Choose from 10 scenes including modified versions of renowned Epic demos. Add custom scenes - thousands freely available online.
Only possible in VR. Find yourself stood inside the jigsaw. Use your tracked controllers to precisely place your pieces as you build the spherical puzzle. Rotate the jigsaw and scene to see it from different angles or simply walk around the jigsaw.
Traditional flat jigsaws are also included.

Thank you for helping. I look forward to your feedback.
@jumbli Thank you for taking the time 🙂 it's really awesome to get your feedback Thank you! totally understand about limited time, best wishes for your launch 🙂
@AVOlight , Now things have calmed down for me I've had time to upload a video to give you more feedback on AVOlight.space. I think it's always useful to see someone using your app. In fact, if you make some changes try and get someone that has never used the app before to play with it while you watch. Don't give them tips and see how they progress. You learn a lot watching people. The video is unlisted so only you and me will see it. It's unedited so bare with me when I forget how to use the app. I waffle on quite a bit so if you can't understand me let me know and I will type up some comments.
I watched your video again and you were doing things in there that I still don't know how to do. As I mentioned before, people won't go back and view your store page. Make the video a short sales pitch rather than a tutorial. Show the features and benefits and then make it obvious in the software how to use it. Maybe add some tutorials to the app to demonstrate different uses.
Also consider each feature and how essential it is. If it's going to be used very rarely consider dropping it to reduce complexity. I'm thinking here about the feature to resize all windows at the same time. After carefully arranging my images I'm not sure I would change all the sizes and disrupt my layout.
I hope that's of some use. It's only one point of view so do get more feedback 🙂
@jumbli this is the BEST feedback i've EVER gotten on anything i've ever done! 😄 THANK YOU! seeing your video made such a difference, it really is so different actually seeing someone else use the app (btw just trigger on empty or non intractable UI space will hide that UI) the fresh eyes tip is really a major one for any developer or person willing to grow!
at the moment my code is quite a mess as i originally rushed it out... so i mostly avoid working on it, for that and many other reasons (like working with closed 3rd party plugins.........) been working on something else that's much less complicated for me, a short story with any input mapped to 1 thing and no UI! but i'm seriously thinking about working on some of the things you mentioned that i could do without breaking my brain
