So, where is all the good stuff and how do you find it? Beauty is, of course in the eye of the beholder but in the immersive technology scene and specifically for immersive journalism here’s where I go to find stuff:
Around since 2011, pretty comprehensive and industry-wide. Also seemingly dude-centric.
Created by Deniz Ergürel, 2016 Tow-Knight CUNY fellow.
They’ve got a new podcast as well.
Aka the grandmother of VR. Super smart lady doing interesting work.
Aka the grandfather of VR or the bro of VR? (I don’t know him, but I like the TED talks. Lots of music-focused stuff).
Always great to see what creative students + professionals are up to.
He’s worked on projects with the UN, Google and Xprize. I’ll be keeping an eye out for what’s up next.
After being selected as part of the Oculus Launch Pad, I’ve met a variety of creators working on small and large-scale projects.
Anything goes. (Vrideo.com)
Created out of the Matter incubator. (Mettavr.com)
ABC and Fusion are putting their videos here. (Littlestar.com)
High-end content creators with a very fancy camera. (JauntVr)
No explanation needed. (Youtube 360)
Again, obvious. (Search 360 videos in Facebook and explore!)
