Trauma Care VR: week 4

Was very productive in filming this week.  We were able to get 3 out of 6 main scene for the professional boundaries.  An aerial footage of Hanna.  Acquired Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Element.  Developer was able to get test scene in Unity for easy editing.

The 3 main scene were the use of sharing personal info, assisting individual personal needs, and hugging.  The 1 scene for sharing personal info was filmed during a marathon event.  Taking photos and sharing on social media is a professional discretion.  Best is to not share personal info but sharing experience is not bad idea.  Just share it social media that is approved by the company you work for.

Scene 2 involves personal needs of the people you work for.  This scene was shot in the bathroom having the individual combing his hair and asking staff for assistance.  This is a professional boundary that should not be cross and have the individual do their own hygiene needs.

Scene 3 is hugging, which had a boy coming up to staff.  This scene the boys is glad to see his staff and wants to give him a hug.  This is another boundary which is in the grey area.  Depending on the situation it is OK to give a hug, but to be professional.  It is safe for you to just give a hand shake instead.

Took aerial shoots of Hanna Boys Center.  This shot was to get as close to photos that are familiar on site of the facility.  We had difficult in getting the right shots because of the wind issues and the extra weight of the camera.  May have to do a retake next week for this to be complete.

Acquired Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Element through the school.  Had both software downloaded to the school labs.  Choosing element was cheaper and wiser for this project which did not need extra pro level editing.

Developer creates 2 example scenes using the 2 assets acquired at the Unity asset store.  It was helpful to have them for complete this project.  The scene is shows video from 2D scene and the other exposes 360 videos from YouTube links.  Using the example films shots we did the previous week as contents.

Goal for this week:
  • Starting editing the 3 main scene and aerial shots in Premiere
  • Starting shooting 3 more main scene
  • one scene focusing in person space that has 4 short shots
  • one scene focusing on professional boundaries in the park
  • one reenactment that has 2 or 3 branching scenarios.
  • 3-4 still 360 pics that focuses non verbal communication.
  • Aiming to finalize my film scenes in the next 2 weeks.
