Platform SDK in the works for the Spatial SDK?

dev-adam

Need access to the logged in user's UUID/Username for an app I'm working on. Trying to prototype something using the Spatial SDK + Platform SDK. Was wondering if that API's exposure is in the works at all. Thanks!

The first version of Platform SDK for Android apps is now out. https://developers.meta.com/horizon/downloads/package/android-platform-sdk

Documentation for the currently supported features are here: https://developers.meta.com/horizon/documentation/spatial-sdk/ps-platform-intro. This initial release is a very limited set of Platform SDK APIs and may not cover the APIs you need just yet, work is currently ongoing to expand the coverage of Platform SDK APIs.

Thank you so much for the update. Amazing work.

Since I have you here, I was wondering if the upcoming camera API exposure (noted during Meta Connect) will also be part of the Spatial SDK.

Yes, Camera API will be available to Spatial SDK developers when it is released.
