Feedback Wanted - Best Practices Preview

To anyone looking at the latest SDK release from July,

Please take a look at and provide some feedback on the "preview" version of our guidelines/requirements. We are currently calling this list "Oculus Application Best Practices" and can be found in Docs/Requirements.

There will be some notable items missing but we'd like to hear your thoughts on what's there and what you'd like to see in a future release.

Thanks!

It's looking a little bare, but a good start.

I'll love to see if we're going to be getting set iconography, eg. to describe the button/touchpad/pad events to the player, required splash screens, if we need to include health information

I guess I'm used to seeing 50 page TRC documents by console manufactures, lol. Love that it's at least human readable!

Our goal is to _not_ do a 50 page TRC/TCR/etc.

For app submission, there will be some basic performance requirements - your app can't make everyone who tries it sick, your app has to maintain 60 fps - but we're not enumerating a list of dozens of items that have to be "checked off."

Is there an ETA for a revised draft of the Best Practices doc?
