I am having a look it seems there's some 3D audio stuff available inside the OVR Lib ..
How do you use it ?
Any example anywhere I could look at ?
[edit] - Besides the SDK docs mention an VRMusic sample .. completely missing from the SDK.
Now I don't want to sound "pessimistic" but .. the SDK documetation about the samples and how to use things it's quite a bit .. well it's poor ..
I mean I appreciate the samples and all and certainly LOT of work been put into but .. "those should be a starting point for developers to use the device and make stuff right ?".
I mean .. so far it's been almost all about "reverse engineering the sample trying to figure out what they do and why".
It's quite a lot of "wasted time" because documentation is not that well explaining "the key points" one needs to know.
I understand it's all prototype/experimental/subject to change and .. but 'a few good pointers in the right directions' can make wonders rather than "frustration in trying to analyze work done by someone else without explanations".
We are still evaluating which 3D Audio technology we are going to license, there isn't anything you can use included in the SDK now. We hope to be able to deliver something you can use in the next SDK.
