Cannot enable Developer Mode; spinner keeps spinning indefinitely (Developing for Oculus Go)

Hello,

Tried to enable Developer Mode for my Oculus Go under
    Settings > Oculus Go Device > More Settings > Developer Mode > Developer Mode
All that happens upon pressing the toggle is a spinner appears and spins indefinitely. Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

Same here.....just spins forever...made sure to log in to the account I have set up as a developer as well

I had the same issue. I logged out an back in of the companion app and then i could turn on the developer mode switch.
If there are any other issues i encounter, i post it here.

My issue was related to the ancient software on my HMD.
Once they sent me the unlock and updated software (I had to manually flash and update to get current) it went into Dev mode just fine. So check your software version to make sure it is the latest.

Good to hear you got it working. I have an old HMD version aswell and cannot launch most of the apps. Still waiting for the support to send me the update.  Weird that my dev mode works without issues despite the old software.

Hi Imperativity

Since that sometimes is very hard understand about some topic in Oculus Go( and a much more for not English speakers) For it, I though that maybe could be a good idea add un Video Tutorial about how to enable Oculus Go developer modeI since I read this info here

and I have a lot a doubs about this topic

For example

1-To create a new organization:

1. Go to: https://dashboard.oculus.com/organization/create
2. Fill in the appropriate information.

Since I have created my organization, my question would be the following

-Should I sign in my organization from my Oculus Go headset? and then I set like enable mode the Oculus Go headset from Oculus App in my Android mobile....

On the other hand I have read that several people have problems to pair the Oculus Go with one Android and Apple mobile

For it, Is it possible enable the Oculus Go to developer mode from Oculus Go headset?( without any mobile phone)

2- Install the Oculus Go ADB Driver (Windows only)

Since I work with Windows 10 and Unity and I need install this ADB drivers  in the Oculus Go and my question is

- Should I download download this zip file from the Oculus Go device?

- How Would I have to unzip this file from Oculus Go device to install it?

I think that maybe it would be better to make a Video Tutorial about this topic to know ( step by step how to do it?)

Please let me know your opinion about this topic
