How to disable/suppress VolumePopup notification

(Note I still work with Mobile SDK 1.0.0.1 (not 1.0.3)).

I see that VrGUI\Src\VolumePopup.cpp is the volume notification that pops up when the volume button is being pressed.
Is there a way to suppress/disable Volume notification from showing?
