Hi guys! I'm developing an app on android and I would like that one section had a virtual environment using Unity3D and GearVR. I'm trying to do a hybrid system in which an Android activity run an Unity3D activity containing GearVR plugin. I put in the Manifest the meta-data com.samsung.android.vr.application.mode with "vr_dual" but then doesn't work the gyro when i put the device inside the goggles. Using "vr_only" my app have to start inside the goggles, then i can't use the Android menu or whatever native activity. My request will be to put the meta-data with "vr_only" inside of a activity instead of the global application. Someone have an idea about do that or guide me a little?
Thank you for your prompt reply. Is there any chance you could provide a more accurate estimation? We're relying on VR_Dual possible in an app I'm currently working on. Is this something likely to be supported in 2 months time? by the end of the year?
