Import Mobile SDK to Unity?

After wasting a lot of time I still can't seem to find out what to do actually do with the Mobile SDK to get it into unity and working with the scene. I'm using Unity 5.2 and I have built and run my game to the GearVR, but I did this by importing a n example project and then just deleting everything but the plugins folder. What do I need to do to actually get what I need from the Mobile SDK files into Unity? Thanks.

First, make sure you are using the right Unity version.

Then check out the mobile docs:

I had already spent a lot of time looking through the documentation and I seriously can't find out how to implement it into Unity. Like I said before I have everything setup right and have already run the example projects from the SDK.
My trouble is what do I do if I have a blank project, what do I need to do to get the Mobile SDK into Unity 5 properly. WIth the old Integration and Unity 4 you just simply imported the asset pack and you were good.

With Unity 5 I believe you can use the native VR support (just select "Virtual Reality Supported" in player settings and that's it). Or you can use the Oculus Unity Utilities to add back some of the old functionality.
