I've just submitted a VR app for Oculus review and since this is our first time, I want to ask you about your experiences.
- According to the email we've received from the store, the review is about 2-3 weeks. Is it possible to get expedited review like with Apple? We have to be live with this app on 19th September, I know it's still early but we have to consider our options in case we need to update some things in the app based on the Review team's feedback. - Our package name is a bit generic - can this be updated afterwards? (probably not like, in Android, but just to check). Also, if the app is already submitted, there's no possibility that the package name is already taken by other app?
Also, if you have some additional experiences / info to share about the review process, please let me know.
You can't expedite the review process and you'd be lucky to receive any feedback about your app if it's rejected or only approved for keys. Also the review process can take far longer than 2-3 weeks. I know its passed the 19th, I'm curious how your experience turned out. You can't change your package name, it would be considered a new upload and a different app. If your app gets uploaded, its probably been checked against existing apps to not have the same package name.
