Recently i've been trying to record video with the Gear VR, the video is smooth, but one thing that really captures my attention is that the aspect ratio is a little weird, it looks more like a 4:3 rather than a 16:9, i was wondering if there was a setting to change it or if anyone knows anything about future developments to change it or if i'm just SOL and too picky with my video settings 😕
From what I've seen, there's unfortunately no way to do this currently. This is because it's capturing from the (pre-warped) eyes buffer specifically if I'm remembering correctly.
