Normally I can play my GearVR game in Unity to test, now I'm getting a hard crash when I hit play.
I have the latest Oculus Utilities 1.13
thanks!

No I can't sorry, that would require NDAs and all... Unity seems to be looking at it, other people are having the same issue (unless you mean my exported game 🙂 )

there's a temp workaround, set "Use 32bit display buffer" in Unity's player settings and it works, no crash.
I assume we want it disabled for GearVR?  "has performance implications"

Can confirm we're seeing this too - thanks for the 32bit display buffer fix.

I'm having the same issue with Swing Star, I can provide you with a copy of the build or the Project Source if you tell me how you'd like me to send it. Editing the projectSettings.asset has fixed it for now, but its still less than ideal.

Was tracking the same problem in another thread. Even though in my build settings the platform is set to Windows the use32BitDisplayBuffer was still crashing Unity on Play when set off.

Here's thread: https://forums.oculus.com/community/discussion/52582/upgrading-to-unity-5-6-f3-causes-crash-on-play/p1?new=1
