there's a temp workaround, set "Use 32bit display buffer" in Unity's player settings and it works, no crash. I assume we want it disabled for GearVR? "has performance implications"
I'm having the same issue with Swing Star, I can provide you with a copy of the build or the Project Source if you tell me how you'd like me to send it. Editing the projectSettings.asset has fixed it for now, but its still less than ideal.
Was tracking the same problem in another thread. Even though in my build settings the platform is set to Windows the use32BitDisplayBuffer was still crashing Unity on Play when set off.
